After my fish and fishtank died in the power outage last December (7 days, no power), I set it on the deck totaly discouraged. This weekend I started putting it back together. I scoured my property for dark colored river rock all weekend and finally got some water in it Sunday night. Threw a couple of snails in there last night with some plants. Hopefully have some fish by end of next week!

  4. I read your comments while you were being Mr. Mom. I am so very proud of you!!! I knew you could do a wonderful job and you did. You even had fun. See you didn’t need me. Your children will thank you when they are grown for loving them enough to invest your time and energy into helping them become wonderful adults. Not to mention some day they will bless you with grandchildren.

Master Bath- new sink and faucet installed. Ceiling boarder up. Joanna helped me. Whole in wall patched and textured.
Back yard- Terrace level by green cable box cleared (cut down overgrowth) and raked. Looks nice. Transplanted green ivy into flowerbed by house and deck. Saw a lot of snake holes. Rodney and Anita hauled off all the limbs and leaves for me.
Purchased 2 gallons of semigloss laytex paint for doors and woodwork and a dimmer switch for dining room light. They come Friday to put on the new counter tops. I think I have talked them into taking all the old counters with them.
    Love, Mom
